Increase horsepower
Your only hp increase will be from an aftermarket intake, but you won't gain much. You can get your gas pedal more responsive if you want to buy a throttle controller, yet you don't gain hp there either.
K&N is the Bose of the intake world, IMO. Great marketing, ****ty product.
The point is OP, there are many out there that have promised the world, yet have delivered next to nothing! (or in some cases cost hp and money (Obama included) and have delivered nothing) If you want HP on these cars you have to spend the appropriate money to get it. And the areas that seems to deliver real HP for the money is, exhaust, headers and NOS.

Sure there are many companies out there that can increase hp without the above stated mods. Companies like K&N can do it, Blitz, APC, and Obama. See all you have too do is add one of their bumper stickers to your window, and we all know you will shave at least .5 seconds from your 1/4 mile time.

Answered a question, and added some pun, if you checked your sense of humor at the door sorry for you. If your offended, so sorry... but too bad, skip over my writing. Anyway you cut it I have offered the OP some useful advice.
Absolutely right, Bose and Dr. Dre have great marketing strategies, but their products aren't even 5% of what they advertise... have you ever wondered why they never publish their specs (frequency responses for instance)? It's like buying an ISF but not knowing the HP, torque, 0-60, 1/4 mile, etc, just taking Lexus' word as it's a car worth $60k+.
