Default ISF purchase question help!

I'm in the process of buy an 08 ISF from Lexus of Easton in Ohio. I work in Saudi Arabia and saw one online so I called them if they would do an online sale and they said they have never done one but will work with me. I must have exchanged over 100 emails and they sent me forms/paperwork to sign and I FedEX them back from Saudi Arabia. The process started in the beginning of AUG and the car is to be shipped to San Diego, CA. They got a loan for 15k from Bank of America but they said the bank wont let them ship the car and I have to fly in to pick up the car or pay in full. I am currently now in the states and they said they are willing to help with the plane tickets. I also ask if i canceled the car purchase will I get full refund and they said no. why won't I receive a full refund and why won't the bank let them ship? They said the bank wants to protect themselves.

It's called a deposit. Deposits are not refundable. It's proof that you are serious about buying the car and they consider the car sold.

The bank wants to be able to take the car if you default on the loan. That's hard to do if the car is in another country. Get a loan from a bank in Saudi Arabia.

thanks for the info. The process has been for 2 months and hopefully ship out next week since the car is now paid in full.

I actually live in San Diego, CA and down here now but work in Saudi Arabia as a contractor.
