LOL
Welcome to the world of buying cars downunder, we get screwed all the time!!!!!
When you consider the M3 4 door is something like $145,000.00 AUD or + $150K USD the ISF doesn't seem so bad but yes we get ****ed over by all the manufacturers and the government (taxes) down here.
Oh, to have the luxury all you US people have with the prices of cars. I would be rolling in exotics LOL

The new wheels look fantastic...not quite as good as the 08-09, but definitely better than 10-11. The fact that they are wider makes them better than all years to date though. Now I just need to find a 2012 owner to trade wheels with, with a little extra cash perk. I should be able to throw 255s and 295s on the new wheels.

You guys are crazy! I get compliments on my '10 rims all the time! These rims look def more sporty than the first gen's.
They're so nice that I remove one of my rims at night and bring it in bed with me

Came across a post today on the Lexus enthusiast blog that seems to mention the US may not begetting the 14 spoke wheels - how disappointing. I hope this is mis-information.

^^^^Sigh - I guess this is true Here's the paragraph in the Press Release that talks about the wheels & tires:
Lou
The IS F features an all-new 19-inch forged-alloy wheels by BBS® with a distinct dark-gray finish and an asymmetrical 10-spoke design. The front wheels are 19 x 8.5J, with 225/40R19 tires and 19 x 9.5J in the rear, with 265/35R19 tires. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 and Bridgestone Potenza tires were each developed specifically for the 170-mph track capability of the Lexus IS F. High-rigidity hub unit bearings are engineered for rigorous, high g-force track driving. The direct-type tire pressure monitor system allows two sets of tires to be registered, giving the customer the benefit of a system with a set of track tires or winter tires. The multi-information display indicates the tire selector switch.
