My comment was strictly from my personal experience and was just a heads up to keep an eye for cracks and leaks and premature failures. My family has been racing cars for over 50 years, so I've seen a lit of things work and a lot of trial and errors.

Good luck. And I hope your project yields positive gains.

My experience with the wrap was that it trapped heat so much that the heat actually transferred back to the motor causing the engine to run hotter. I know others that have had cracking and no one I knew that did it said they got better performance.

I'm not sure I'll ever wrap anything. Just seems like a waste of energy for minuscule gains, if any. Especially on a luxury sedan.
