^^ True!!! If your car is new and under warranty, you shouldn't have a problem.

Have they ever been taken apart to be cleared or have the chrome blacked out or LEDs added, etc? If no, warranty should handle it no problem.

It happend to my 09, in April. It was the passenger headlight. Took it to the dealer and replaced under warranty no questions asked.

Apparently, a pseudo search by me back then found more than a coincidence that many Lexus models have this problem. If I remember correctly, it was always the passenger headlight.

My 08 just did the same thing. Its driver side. I simply washed the car and then noticed the condensation while I was drying it off. Its been all weekend and the condensation is still there. I tried everything from leaving the headlights on , to hairdryer on the seams. Nothing has worked. There are no cracks or broken seals. And I did nothing different this time I washed the car that I havent done before. I am highly annoyed that the condensation hasnt gone away. I searched some other forums and googled it as well. They say the fix is taking out the bulbs in order to allow the moisture to escape. However, you have to take off ALOT of fender well and other parts to get the headlight off. Im feeling a little sketchy on taking off all those little plastic clips that shoot off and get lost and then you cant get the fender wells back on correctly. Any ideas before I have to drive 3 hours out of town and drop her off at lexus dealership for a few days ? ? ?

^^^
While other owners had their replaced under warranty, each dealer / SA thinks differently

I would call the service advisor (SA) and ask them if it will be covered (Providing the condensation can be verified by them) before making a long trip.

Adam,

^^ You should be able to pop off the DRL bulb access cover from the engine bay... then let it bake in the sun for a few hours to evaporate...

Update. I took it to lexus and they said it had a hairline crack and it wpuld not ne covered by warranty. Troed to kust by the housing but it was 1400$. No thank you. The SA was awesome, he showed me where and how to remove the access panel, like JoeZ recommended, it was duper easy, i am an idiot i guess. He also added some epoxy to it and told me i shouldnt have any more problems. And BTW, while i was there i got the new rear view mirror from the LSB. I like it alot. If anyone has the same issue you can pm me and i can describe how to get the panel open. After a 2 hour drive home ALL the water evaporated ! I am tres happy now.
