Nav screen playing movies
Yes I can change everything on the fly with Navi, the only thing I do not like about the Navigation is that it wont give me a turn by turn via voice, on the highway it does but city strerts I have to look st the screen highlighted blue, but my Bimmers always told me a play by play, like when to turn, the distance till turning and exactly where to go, this Navi kinda blows. I wonder how it was bypassed with previous owner, everything looks intact like brand new.
I have all the original paperwork, the car was originally bought from South Bay Lexus in Torrance which is about 15 min from my house. There were two owners before me, so from 09 till mid March when I bought it, they only put 6,900 miles on the car. Even the car was used the car looked like it came from the showroom floor. I paid $45,975 for the car. But I put a large chunk down on top from my X6 trade in.
I have the same thing on my car. movies played from the first day of purchase. I got it used. I hit no switches for mine to work. The other owner had it done somewhere in atl ga. Im surpised many of you dont have this done yet?

There are two ways of getting the DVD to be viewable while in motion. You can get the bypass unit which plugs into the back of the navigation unit or you can follow this DIY.
At this point, I believe it can only be done on Gen5 Nav.
