couple things, first of all i wasn't driving.
i lent my car to a friend who came from out of town.
the CHP pulled him over because he saw there was no front plate on the car
he then had him pop the hood
the ticket came in the mail along with 2 different notices
so basically, the driver of the car didn't get the ticket...the owner of the car did...
as for search and seizure laws, what's new about them??? i know all they need is probable cause but that's more for illegal substance not equipment violations
I've had a V1 for a long time. Great radar detector, but still not a police detector. When somebody figures out how to find the police, not just a radar/laser, they'll have something truly valuable.
