BFI versus Injen cold intake
I've got a stock 96 SC300 and want to upgrade some things. Its my dd. Am looking for a few opinions since I'm torn between building the BFI modification using stock airbox or removing stock air intake and installing an Injen air intake.

the intake tube of the Injen is metal...and that could heat up after 10 or so minutes of driving. Resulting in you sucking hot air into the engine

The injen is like the SRT which is made of a different type of material that resists heat containment by quickly dissipating heat, as well it is designed to reduce turbulence. That's why porting and polishing heads works so well, reduce drag and turbulence, increase power.

I made mine from left over intercooler pipe and stuck a k&n cone filter in the factory air box to get fresh air insted of hot engine bay heat!I will post a picture of how it looks when I get home.
