Default Goodbye to CL Forums

Unfortunately, I had to trade off my beloved IS-F. The wife had to have a new ride and we didn't want another car payment. Obviously, I am bummed about losing my sweet ride.
Luckily, I traded it in with the snow tires and wheels so I still have the factory wheels and tires. I can't sell them on this site because I haven't been an active poster, so I'll be listing them on Ebay soon. Any idea how much I can get out of them? The wheels are in great shape and the tires still have about 30% of the tread left. I also have all the lug nuts, wheel locks, and center caps. I guess if I was smart I would have kept the all weather floor mats, too. I hear they're selling for quite a bit of money since Lexus stopped selling them.

Sucks you had to give up your F. What car did you and your wife decide on? As for the factory wheels, the 10 spoke (08-09) look best IMO. You'll get some offers on them for sure, as some who have the newer wheels with the web design, want the older wheels instead.

Thanks for the help. Not sure I can post a link to the auction on here, but they will probably be on Ebay in a few days.

1MAC,
I think we just purchased your old car. I sent you a PM with some details that I think link the two together.

Sorry to that you had to let your F go. Hopefully you can get one in the near future though.

From what I've seen, the 10 spoke rims with tires usually go for about $2k or a little more.

For that price, it will have to be a specific person with that (F-Wheel) specific need, which might be far in-between. Sure they cost a lot from the dealer, but in the private/used market, it has much less value. I'm guessing more $1K, but that's just me.

For that price or a little more, they can get some new Japanese wheels.

Good luck though.

I am thinking more than twice that amount if they are in good shape. Some guys are getting good prices on eBay. I think they fit other is models and seem to have a demand there as well.
