Default Valve Spring Recall?

Anybody else get called to bring their car in for a valve spring recall? I did a little digging and it doesn't seem this recall affects the F's.

What's odd is they never called me for the pedal recall, nor did they perform the work on my last visit, but now I hear of a valve spring recall that doesn't seem to affect the F's.

Is my dealer on crack?

The valve spring recall was/is for the 3.5 V6 only IIRC not the IS F.

No one ever called me about the brake pedal override either but I always decline to have it performed and have it noted when I take my car in for service.

that's not entirely correct. some gs460 and ls460 with 4.6 v8 were recalled too. and also some ls600hl with the same 5.0l v8

but with that said, isf is not part of the recall

The ISF is not included because the heads come from Yamaha

It's not the same V8, different heads. The high redline and titanium valves of the ISF V8 requires the use of different springs.

ISF is not affected.

Friend of mine's dad is the service advisor at my local dealership. He was out of office yesterday, but will look into it today for me. Thanks guys. I was coming up with the same answers you all provided, but wanted to make sure there wasn't something out there I couldn't find.
