I was real close to ordering a 2011 Z06 which now will have a lot of the ZR1 technology and some carbon fiber parts etc. But then found out about the huge rebates GM was doing on the 2010 ZR1 so that was a no brainer plus dealers are begging to get the 2010 inventory off their showrooms as they have plenty of 2011's on the lot and 2012 ordering coming up in a few months. Decided on Sunday to pick up a 2010 in Velocity Yellow so started calling dealers and working them. Got it for exactly what I was prepared to pay. Could have got a lot of other colors cheaper as there are lot's of them around the country but were only about 8 VY left and 2 of those 8 were the 1zr package.
I also toyed around with the Nissan GTR as an option, and the new Caddy CSV 2 door but after seeing the speed network show with the ZR1 and how it blows away pretty much every thing out there my mind was turned to the Vette. Just happy as hell I did the ZR1 rather than the Z06 even though it's a great car too. This deal was good so I got more car for only a few more thousand dollars.

No love for the 997 Porsche Turbo? I certainly like the ZR1 out of the cars listed, with the GT-R a fairly close second. It'd be a tough decision between the ZR1 and a 997 unless the price was a big difference.
