2011 ISF weekend caliper project
I have an '11 USB IS-F with low miles and the paint on the front calipers are already chipping. I was set on repainting them blue, but then saw the burnt copper and am now torn between the colors. The G2 blue is not an exact match and the burnt copper isn't anywhere on the car.

love the burnt copper, personally wanted to go for the same effect.

Looks awesome guys! Well done!!
Hey also if anyone is wanting to paint their calipers & requiring OEM ISF decals you'll be able to buy them from Motogfx www.motogfx.com/lexus
The owner is a guy names Matt, great guy, extremely helpful & very easy to deal with! He'll definitely look after you.
I just recently repainted my calipers black & had installed the oem decals i bought from motogfx & it worked a treat! As the brakes look brand new again now!

Question about the decals. I plan to stick with oem Lexus decals and buy from the quoted site.
1. Do the decal stay on the caliper then spray on a clearcoat?
2. Or paint a base color for the oem lexus logo, then stick on the decal, then paint entire caliper with the color of my choice, then remove decal to reveal base color, then spray on clearcoat?
Also, how many coats of paint and clearcoat should be applied so its durable enough for track use?
Any other tips will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Don't be too optimistic about calipers staying nice with track use, especially with stickers or decals on them. I burned the silver Lexus gold on my front calipers with track use.
