^ I retract my previous statement. Just checked with them and we can have them air freighted over to us if you guys need them faster than the 30 days originally quoted. Price to have them air freighted is $25 additional.

Robert

Sorry for the double post guys, but editing my previous post didn't quite seem right. With regards to these NS pads, do they ABSOLUTELY have to be bedded in? I can't find any roads where breaking in the pads with those kinds of speeds and stops without getting into legal trouble.

All pads are supposed to be bedded, much like a new clutch has to be. Not doing so can lead to the brakes not working optimally and experiencing vibration from the brakes.

Both articles below are really good reading and explains why it needs to done and the procedure.

That would mean I'm screwed right? Since the road that MAY be able to do this is about 9 miles away with a lot of stop and go traffic. I can just kiss my brake performance good-bye. By then my brakes would be all f'ked up.

Does anyone know if Project Mu makes pads for the IS-F that are somewhat track-worthy? Say, something like the HC+ or Level MAX900? Both of those are street legal but should have enough stopping power for light track... might be a good alternative to changing pads before and after track events.

I am interested in purchasing a set of front and rear pads - how do I go about doing so? I checked the site, but there is no "IS-F" related section?

Are the Type NS compound the only option for IS-F owners in the US?

For the part numbers F160 / R106...
http://project-mu.co.jp/matching/pad/LEXUS.htm

These compounds are listed:

Type NS
Type NS Zero
Type HC+

http://project-mu.co.jp/matching/pad...ads_settei.htm

No B-Force or B-Spec

^^ That spreadsheet is for JDM. The B-Force pad is for the US market and is available in F160/R106.
