another 335 vs IS-F again

I think Im going to trade in my wifes IS350, lexus is just getting too boring and less appealing. Its just like owning a camry.
Any of you IS-F guys have enough ***** to race a 335?? or do you just use excuses like these 335 guys mentioned.

Sounds like you're an IS-F hater just like some of those guys on n54. I had a e92 335i with JB3 and it was fast as hell but I sold my e92 to get an IS-F. Love both cars and when/if I do indeed get an IS-F I'd have enough "*****" to race a 335i...why does it matter so much whos faster?

Or, worse to have your whole warranty canceled when you show up at the dealer for service with a tune and a pulley... (like it happened to a co worker and numerous people)

Seriously!!! I cant beat him on that.... I got my 08 F brand new if 5/09 and went back 3 months later for the first oil change and did the rear view mirror bulletin and adjusted the rear brake cable cause my driveway has a steep incline.. My buddies brand new 08 335 was purchased 9/08 and the 2nd day it nearly needed to be towed back cause it wouldnt start back up at the tint shop. Ended up starting back up after sitting for 30 mins to let the car cool down? It needed a fuel pump with 120 miles on the odometer... and then at 6800 miles, its 2 turbo blew and the fuel pump went again... then at 11,500 miles a light came on for low oil.... sigh...... I dont know how ppl can brag about their car being faster and better than somebody else car when it has so much problems... especially when he states that his car was just back from warranty work... Its like me putting on a $600 turbo kit on ebay and maxing out the boost in my civic and telling ppl that I beat an IsF with my $900 civic although I ended up towing my civic home after 4 blocks of racing cause both my engine and my turbo blew up...
The hpfp's on the 335i's make the 335i's reliability a joke to most car enthusiast but I have to say that I was lucky and never had that problem with my e92 but it sucks to worry about it every time you start your car.

only a bimmer fan boy would declare his ride "better"...read that same thread by all the other members of that site. total bs! it takes some big ***** to talk smack about CL members....on a freakin bimmer site.
