Oh I forgot to mention that my car has the poetential to run high 8's to low 9's if I get new axels and a bigger turbo. Everything else on my car can handel over 900rwhp with no problems.

So what I am saying is this yes you could get a cheaper car and mod it to hell and back and be cheaper but as a package the GTR is a great car with potential just like the supras were when they were new.

as much as i hate it, id have to agree. I was mesmerized when the last few supra models came out, but the GT R is packaged so well as is, and the need to power it up....that would be insane!

I'm starting to learn towards a gt-r. Getting bored w/ the F and it's lack of support in the aftermarket. GT-R has so much more potential and support. Main thing that's stopping me is the looks of the GT-R. Not a fan of the front 2 tone bumper/grille. All black looks sweet, but it's hard to keep it looking clean. I'm a white car person myself, but there's just something about the gt-r in white that bothers me. Would i rather have the hot chick w/ a flat chest or the ugly chick w/ beautiful ta-ta's? Hmm?

Yeah, but you'd drive the ACR the way it's meant to be driven right off the showroom floor. The CCX will scare the crap out of you until you develop a skill set sufficient to know what it's going to do when you push it. I'd recommend lots of seat time in a shifter cart while you're waiting for delivery.

for some reason i still would stick with the F. less insurance costs. i dont know if he voided the warranty by pressing the launch button. i do like the look of the gt-r, but the maintenance and lack of luxurious feel alone kinda talks more than the twin turbo engine for me.

I borrowed my friend's Viper over the weekend ~ I must admit I'm in love
My suggestion, keep the IS-F and pick up a used Viper for less money so you can have one of each. The GTR is nice if you need back seats, saw a family of 4 testing one out because the father had a Porsche and needs back seats to "sports" car...haha
