Default aerotect questions

hey guys,
ive searched around to find the thread where someone gives a review of aerotect film and I can not find it

i recall aerotect getting involved saying they would look into it and respond
but i havent seen anything on it since

i remember a few members saying that they had to take it off because of sizing issues, someone posted pics and everything

did aerotect fix the issues for u guys and take care of u

im only asking because its now time for me to smoke my tails and my heads and they seem the go to guys if im going to tint

or maybe someone has experience with a better product?
or could recommend something

thanks everyone

Here's the thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ctor-film.html

Jason from Aerotect sent me some new ones last week and has been waiting for me to stick them on and get back with him before he updates the thread. I've been busy, but will try to put them on tonight after work and update everyone once finished.

Thanks.

The only issue they were working on, was the small rear bumper reflectors..

Anything else you need from them should be good to go..

I have been using Aerotect for over 5 years...

They have worked on my 2001 IS300, 2008 IS350 & now my 2008 IS-F..
Along with a few other non-Lexus cars.

I highly recommend their Work & Products...!!

I watched the installation video they have on the site, and for the tails there is a last piece u have to put over the seem on the taillight
im worried it will stand out and not look good
can anyone comment on this?
im am going to wait until i hear back too
i wish they had a bit more pics up on aerotects website

I have used them for both the redout and bumper reflectors. They look really good and are super easy to do.
The blackouts work best if you take off the bumper and unscrew the reflectors, makes it super easy to put on as they are bigger and have a larger margin for error. I recommend this product.
The redouts wont standout too much. You can notice if your up close no matter how well you put them on, but from a few feet away you can't tell if they are lined up correctly.

hahahaf, Just waiting to hear back from two CL members that we sent replacements to. We just want to make sure they fit before we send out anymore. I will certainly post once the issue has been resolved... It would seem as though we ran into a couple different sizes, as a test fit on one F was way to big for another...

Thanks to all for your patience!

Jason

ive done mine in "tint"... I'm not sure exactly how much was light reduction but i didnt notice mine much since i drive with my HIDs all the time.. installation was done by jason also. it looks just same as joe z's, just in really light black film.. Sorry i didnt have any pictures of my car after the smoke... i got lazy i guess.

this application needs bit of stretching during the installation. its not going to be that easy if you have never done it.

I highly recommend Aerotect. I was referred to Aerotect by JoeZ many years ago and they've done 6 Lexus vehicles for my family of which 3 of the installs were on my 2 previous Lexus (04 IS300, 07 GS350) plus my current 09 IS F. Francisco and Jason are awesome.

A new website is coming, and I will try to get more pics up... Just learning a new program, and I should begin building this week. Hope to have it up near the end of the month, but we'll see.

Beyond the web-site, we have some awesome new products coming out....
