Default need EXPERT advice on front windshield replacement

took a big rock today, 12 inch crack and growing

USAA (my insurance co) says i have to use safelite auto glass.

zero deductible in florida (thank god)

but.....


HELP

are they (safelite) worth a crap?


i really want OEM glass in my car... what are the laws?


please keep opinions to yourself, i need FACTS!!!

I had the same thing happen to me. I have USAA as well and Safelite ordered/installed OEM Lexus Glass. Safelite is a huge company and they do good work. Just make sure you check their work after they are finished and you should be good to go. Hope this helps.

safelite is fine but its the farming out of their work to others is what kill them. As long as it is OEM windshield it should be no worries. Like said earlier check the work and make sure the auto windshield wiper box is put back correctly as with the rearview mirror also. I have had people leave it hanging on one of my mercedes before.
