So I'm driving around and talking on the cell with my friend. A Civic pulls up at the stoplight and as the light changed, he floored it. So instinctively I floor it as well and my conversation went something like this:
Me: OMG! I can't believe that Civic is trying to race me!
Friend: (in a facetious tone) Does it have a rear wing, exhaust, wheels, or decals? Because that explains why.
I seem to only get challenged by IS300s and trucks. I don't even bother anymore. Not worth giving someone the satisfaction that I was suckered into a race.
wow...be safe man...race on a race track...not on the streets...hehe
Yeah, I know. I didn't do anything crazy. It was late at night, with no other cars ahead of us. The speed limit was 50, so that's what I went to. . . just really, really fast.
I wonder how many of the cars that challenge IS Fs know what we're driving.
Some guy tried to race me on the highway the other day. He was driving an older model S4 and the entire front end was smashed in and the rest had fallen off in a prior accident. I figured it wouldn't be such a good idea to give that one a go. So I let him fly away.

I also noticed that other IS's tend to tailgate me, more so than any other types of cars....it's like we're the ugly step brother....
All of these wannabes just bore me. I don't give them the time of day. After all, we're the ones that are privileged enough to drive the F! I still get an average of 2 compliments everytime I roll into a gas station.
