Hi all,
I am trying to play mp3 audio DVDs in my 09 ISF.
I have tried Nero, Jukebox audio DVD. When I try to play it, nothing happens.

Are any of you guys playing homemade audio DVDs ?

 

i havent even thought of that! maybe its your software? do they play on your pc?

 

yes, they play great, they also play on my $35 cd dvd player from target.

 

I am also trying to get this to work. I am using NERO and can only get regular cd-r's to play.
Please let us know if you figure something out.

 

Are you guys sure that you can do mp3 dvds? I was under the impression that only mp3 cds would work. It'd actually be awesome to be able to make mp3 dvds...

 

that is because it doesn't work... the car can only play mp3 cd, NOT dvd.

if you burn mp3 (as data files) to cd, you can play it

 

Try burning the mp3s on a regular CD-R. That should be the fix

 

The IS-F doesn't play mp3s burned on DVDs, only on CDs. You can play DVD audio though, but you'll be able to fit only a couple of songs more than in a CD.

 

the center channel i think only comes on with dvd movies and etc.. i tired doing what mikeoakes doing and it never worked i figured it cannot play mp3 DVds.

 

This is weird. At the dealer when going through some stuff with my sales rep, we played a DVD in the car. I can't remember if the car was on or not, but we definitely were playing a DVD. Now when I try, all I get is audio like you guys are saying. Confused

 

You have to be in park with the parking brake engaged for video to play DRE.

 

yeah, dvd audio and dvd video is ok. for video you have to have parking brake on

dvd mp3 is another story. it's all data files, not audio tracks...

 

I was in park when trying to watch the DVD. First time with the car on and the second with the car in aux mode. Both times all I got was audio.
