Default Is $5k under invoice possible on leftover 08 models?

I heard this from a buddy that dealers are making some great deals but I have not gotten that offer yet.

Invoice on a fully loaded ISFf is around $54k with sticker at $62k so are you guys saying you can buy a NEW IS-F for $49k'ish???

I usually pay cash for my cars but in this economy would like to keep some liquid cash so how is Lexus Financial? Do they offer 0% APR or something nice like 0.9% like how some Benz dealers around here are doing?

I hate paying interest so the lower the rate the better

thanks for the tip, I just emailed that guy from McGrath Lexus. I know those guys well as I bought my 99 GS400 many many moons ago!

My local guy easily offered me invoice on his new 2008 in the showroom but I heard of someone buying at 5k off invoice.

Does Lexus have any attractive finance options right now for a 2008 vs. a 2009 car?

I see $5K dealer cash on these now on the Edmunds incentive page...I was told no special financing is avail. (at least yet) so it may be about a wash from the earlier $3K dealer cash, depending on finance rates you can get...if you are paying cash though, you are sitting pretty. The prices on these are really getting incredible.

That is VERY TRUE but only lasted till 12/08

He said it may happen again in March so I will probably wait till this offer comes back b4 I decide.

does 5k under invoice sound a little crazy to anyone other than me. If thats the case I would trade my GS350 for and ISF. Maybe I should check it out
