My F is also a bit 'jumpy' in the 1-2 / 2-1 shift for the first bit of driving on these cold mornings (even after warming up at idle for a minute or so). Doesn't seem to be anything worth worrying about.

What mode are you guys in when you're having this problem...automatic or manual?

I've got the same issue. On cold mornings (car is garaged overnight) while driving in normal D mode the first shift from 1st to 2nd jumps. After that it's fine and did not notice this in the warmer months.

Every car is jumpy with a cold engine pretty much. My last car even prevents you from reaching a certain RPM if the engine temp isn't high enough. Drive easy for the first 5 minutes on a cold morning to let the car warm up.
