Something is weird when running the car cold
After my car sits overnight, i remote start it for 5 minutes. Car idles at 1900rpms when cold. Start driving and the RPMs run much higher with slower acceleration. Feels like i'm towing a yacht.
Could this possibly have anything to do with the differential? I don't know when the fluid was last changed out. I've had the car for over 16000 miles MY guess is the fluid has separated into 2 liquids and is partially freezing or turning into a thick substance.
Any thoughts guys?

yes, its very cold. MY car doesn't warm up past the quarter mark unless i drive. It takes about 5-8 minutes to get to that point when its cold.
It only happens when the car sits overnight, when its colder than 30 and for the first 2 minutes of the drive until the temp. gets up to norm

Have you checked the transmission fluid level while idling?
If it was closer to 5 or 10 degrees, and only last a few seconds, I wouldn't be that worried about it. Just below freezing, and for several minutes isn't a good thing.

I haven't checked the tranny fluid but it should be fine. i got it done last year and i'm bout to do it again soon. Should i just change out both of them at the same time?
I also forgot to mention there is a weird vibration but only when the car is cold. (until it warms up)
