I took a little trip to Gatlinburg, TN (first trip in F) this weekend and noticed another, pushing the "lock" button on the key fob a second time turns out the lights when they are left in auto. You can push the door lock twice and this does not turn them out, only when you hit the fob for the 2nd time.

We should thank them for not putting a keyhole in the tails though! Don't forget you can lock out that release inside of the glove box.

Another thing that bugs me is that ISF doesnt stay in sport mode like my IS350 did.

Am i missing something or do you really need to switch into the sport mode every time you start the car?

Is there any way to keep it in sport mode all the time?

I'm nearly positive you have to switch it every time you start the car unless someone has figured out how to keep it on....pain in the a$$ but oh well

I've noticed that the material used on the doors shows marks very quickly (if your arm rubs across it or you brush it exiting the car). I am constantly having to wide the panel down.

Is it something they introduced on all IS models in the last 2 years? You could definitely leave "sport" on all the time on the 2006 IS350

Somebody needs to find way around it, it bugs the hell out of me

Updated the list, added the IPOD or XM interface (can only have one OEM). I'm still suprised XM was not standard, especially on the ML.

A few things I find very weird:

1. That display that shows "tire pressure" and stuff and its operation is very weird. I am not sure why they did not combine this with the display that shows gear number, MPG, etc.

2. Operating heat and A/C system is equally weird since you have the touch screen and some buttons that sometimes override what you did on the touch screen. Further, the A/C light (in the display) seems misleading. Sometimes when I get out of the garage and its 74F outside and my climate is set to 70F (but A/C off), I get cold air! I still have not explained this (it works the same on my Prius). How can I get cold air if the compressor is not running or is the compressor running even though the A/C light is off?
