Default Brake Bed-in

The manual says to bring it in the dealer for bed-in. Has anyone done it? Is there a "special process" or they just take it out on an open road and do a few hard brakes?

I can do this myself if that the case. http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm

Thanks,
TP.

You can do it yourself. I've done it with every new car I've owned as soon as possible. My brakes last an amazing amount of time too. I have 57k on my IS350 and I'm still on the original TSIB pads and rotors with wear projecting about 100k service life.

I asked only because it's kind a hard to find a stretched empty road here in LA. But I rather bed it in w/ my lead foot than a lexus tech.

I bought my car at Longo Lexus (thanks Elise!). By the time I got to the Ritz in Marina Del Rey, the brakes were fully bedded. It's not that hard to do.
