Would it make a difference if you put ice bags on your engine between runs? I know a lot mercedes guys do that but they have S/C's

do u really need to do that, i thought only FI felt the difference.

Thats what I thought too, but his runs got progressively slower after the first one. I was just thinking maybe it was due to heat. If anything I would think you would get faster as your tires heat up.

I actually didn't have traction problems!$#%$#@^&^ Can't figure that one out... I was running RE050 18" 255 40 and at 40 PSI too.

I read somewhere that if intake temps get high, the engine timing can be retarded just a touch reducing power. I'm not sure if it's true - but it does make sense.
