Default New ISF

Took delivery yesterday of Ultrasonic Blue /Black. 10 miles on clock.
Very impressed.Got out of a 06 300 STR8 and this is a very different auto. Quick, precise..great tranny and ride, and sound above 3800 RPM is ver nice. Paid MSRP with XM install and radio included. All options except the crash/cruise thing.

How would you compare the power of the IS-F to the 6.1 L hemi SRT8?? I'm asking this b/c I almost got a Jeep SRT8 instead of the IS-F.

Close comparison or just a different delivery??

I imagine the 300 SRT8 was a beast. I too am curious about what your thoughts are in comparing the two.

Default Srt8

Bear in mind I am still breaking the car in...but having owned many muscle cars I can see that the torque in the SRT8 is superior, but overall the quickness of the ISF will prevail. You really have to push the 300 around..It is not nimble and the tranny in manual is a joke..It hesitates and sometimes lapses. There have been many TSB's regarding the tranny. It is not a paddle shifter. The interior of the Lexus is far superior to all the plastic in the 300.
At this point the ISF wins hands down.
