Default Cannonball Run........

So who's taking their IS-F to the event? I'll probably gut it and put everything back after the event. Probably save me 150lbs? Some light weight wheels? Damn this car is fast. M3 got nothing on me!!!

With the $10,000 prize I can do some serious mod to this car. Beat an M5/M6?

Looks like me and friend are going to do it in my F. Why gut the car? Its a 1500 mile race. I definately want to be comfortable for that long of a trip.

just stuff that I don't need like back seats, etc. Fronts are really comfortable.

They have to catch me first. I use V1 and jammers, saves me a couple times already.

They say the best cars to use for these events are fast sedans. First, they're fast, and they can fit a third driver.

I watched some show on this guy who had won the original event like 3 times using some bmw sedan averaging over 110 mph throughout the race. The other two guys in his car were looking out the front and rear with binoculars looking for police. Though that was funny. Good Luck on the Run.

Wow, I never thought about binoculars. I'll keep that in mind. I don't think I need a third guy to look in the back because when you're going about 120+mph they have to go faster to be able to keep up never mind catching you. That's why you don't see super cars getting caught often. My IS-F is solid 140+ so I'm not really worried. I can see how the passenger using binoculars are handy though.

I think you are missing an important detail. The cop(s) that spot/radar/laser you going 140+ doesn't have catch you and pull you over. They can just radio to another donut sucker ahead of you to pull you over.

I love the f40 and f50, if I ever make enough money I will definitely buy one.

10g's would be nice to mod your IS-F... but make sure to take pictures of the gorgeous exotics out there. You should have a great view of their bumpers.. while you are in range that is..lol

I think it will be closer than everybody is saying. The race isnt 1500 miles straight. There are stages which should make things interesting.

Haha ok.. if you believe you can keep up with cars built for top speed with STI radar dectectors and laser jammers.. then sure.. it will be closer than what I think. Only way it will be close, is if you drive like a bigger maniac then the rest of them.
