Default Wow!

Just got back from our local track where Lexus allowed us to test drive the ISF with a professional driver. Very Impressive vehicle. ChuH was the 1st to go around the track, I was the second and I WANTED MORE! (in fact we were allowed three laps but I squeezed a 4th lap. I was going to go for another but the professional driver insisted I return to the pit area IMMEDIATELY LOL. Acceleration was awesome, handling was awesome and I was most impressed with the braking. No matter how hard we tried, the vehicle wouldn't break loose. Of course for safety the skid control was on but I am overall very impressed with the vehicle. If any of you owners haven't taken your vehicles to the track, I recommend you GO IMMEDIATELY!

The was a great experience. I was the 5th one to drive and we all pushed the car as hard as we could but the ISF is a monster. It held the entire time.

That was so much fun this afternoon. Hey Mike did you get the chance for the second time around the track? Wish I could stay back longer to get a second chance. I guess I was the first to also knock down the cones. Yeah they also fix the confusing cone placements on one of the turns after my run. hehehe.

So Mike going to get one??? I already told Dave that I do not want the silver IS-F next month. Having driven a silver GS430 for 7 years it is time to change color. You can have that one coming in though. I may consider the Grey that is coming in on May. I really wanted a coupe therefore I may hold out a little longer to see of any news in the next few months on the possibility of a IS-F coupe by the year end or early next year. If not I will be getting a IS-F sedan instead.

ChuH,

You left too early. More people showed up so I didn't drive it again. Ask Dave for an ISF shirt like the ones all the employees were wearing. They were giving them out to the drivers as we left later on. I won't be getting an ISF any time soon. It'll probably be 5 years before I can consider a sports sedan again. I do have my sights on an LX570 though. I just have to sell the GX 1st. Any takers? LOL shipping not included Let me know when you get your ISF ChuH. May I borrow it to take it to the track and drive it like we did the demos yesterday? LOL
