Default Sewell IS-f

Just picked my wife's Is300 up from sewell for an oil change, and what was behind me? you guessed it the first IS-f from sewell. I talked with the guy about joining Club Lexus, he said he tried joining My.IS and got banned , no one believed he had the car. Hopefully he will be part of the Club-luxus Crew. Nice guy, VERY nice ride. The motor still had that break in smell... Man all of you IS-f people are lucky, man can't wait until I get mine.

Tell the kid he should check out the National Supra Event TX2K8 next week (March 19-23) in Houston, TX. Roughly 100+ Supras from around the nation, plus exotics, high-powered domestics, and turboed lexus' will be in attendance too. Details are posted in the Regional Section of the forums here.

Wow, that's some story. Banning somebody because nobody believed he had the car. I gotta tell you, the IS-F is great. I just wish the NAV software was the same from the IS-350... I didn't mind hitting the "OK" button to proceed. At least it was instant. Now I have to wait for the screen to go away on it's own...

I believe you. Regardless, who has the right to doubt you or anybody else? Not me, that's for sure!

Hope you are enjoying it. Mine will be broken in by the weekend. Getting my summer tires put back on the car on Monday!

Hey, I am the "guy from sewell lexus" , glad to join up. I didnt actually get banned, they threatened to ban me because I was a newbie and I said I had a ISF in Dallas. Anyway, I posted some real bad pics from my cell phone taken at night. They believed me after that and of course I dont have to prove it now that fleadog saw me. The car is incredible, at first I was sceptic because it seemed sluggish on low rpms. Now that the motor is broke in properly and I have opened it up, it runs great both in low rpms and high. This thing will scare you if you get on it say around 70mph, you will end up at 140 in seconds and not realize it... I owned a Evolution VIII and had modified it to 318 awhp, it didnt come close to this kind of power at highway speeds. Previously has a M5, never liked it that much because of maintenance issues. I think* this car feels faster. Either way, its a toyota engine so I can now drive without the worry of breaking down all the time. Lexus quality has finally met with Enthusiast desire for performance and YES I am lucky to own one!

Glad to see you signed up, can't wait to get a real look at it, the next DFW meet. I am usually on the IS250/350 threads, I have a 250, that was my wifes IS300 with the IS250 stock rims and alteeza badging. I am trying to upgrade to a 350 since the IS-f is a little outa range, but maybe I will save up and purchase, ya never know. Again WELCOME to The Club.

if you talk about performance upgrades, it will probably be a little while. but of course you can always snap on wheels
