I'm on our list (possibly #1) for the IS-F at our Des Moines dealer. I've never spent that much for a car, and I'm still debating. One factor is the insurance cost, and my company can't give me a quote on a brand new model without a VIN. Would any new IS-F owner (or someone who's seen one at a dealer) be willing to share a VIN I could give to my insurance company for a quote?

Joshmtx, you're right. I scanned the forum, but I didn't do a search. I'll try the VIN in the eBay listing (JTHBF262785010033) and see if it works for an insurance quote. It differs from the starting number you've listed. I'll try it both ways.
Like BJM711, I have USAA insurance. I'm 50 years old with four vehicles and two teenagers. I'll see what the difference is subbing an IS-F for my RX-8.
