Still new to this posting stuff. I think this is my 3rd web site I've put a message on and for all I know there all related or operated by one guy (or gal). I bought one of the IS-F's that was shown on the Today show a few weeks back. Since I bought a RX350 and a IS350 this year from my salesman, I called him to tell him about the purchase I just made over the phone. Now the dealer here in Las Vegas is probably one of the busiest dealers nationwide and they had very little information on the IS-F. When I purchased this IS-F, it went direct to Lexus's specialty division. Now you would think someone there could enlighten you on the car right? Well, not exactly. All they told me was the Neiman Marcus cars sold out so quickly they have established a long waiting list should someone not send in their $5000.00 deposit within 10 days upon receiving your confirmation letter. So if there are any other NM IS-F purchaser's out there, drop me a line. I know one thing for sure, I'll be the only one here in Vegas with one of them (for now).
WOW...welcome to ClubLexus and congrats and definitely post as much thoughts as possible once you get to experience the car, and yeah, you have my deepest envy!!
And I can't believe you're just starting to post stuff on the Internet lol.
After numerous calls to Lexus, I was able to find out what I bought. Apparently, the car has every option, except the Pre-Collision System. Everyone I talked to, seemed to think that if you consider the Skip Barber course as a bonus (or freebie), the MSRP with the option would probably be at least the 68K or more...making this a good deal. It also includes all the special build items. The production line goes live in February. After the initial testing of the production cars, the special build will roll off. Should arrive to Long Beach late March.

Whoa that's make it two. Congrats and welcome to ClubLexus!
But late March? That's almost 5 months away. Why is Lexus delaying the production so much?

Yea, that is pretty far out. Not sure how these cars are going on sale in Japan on 12/25 and the production doesn't start until two months later. My dealer thought I would have it this month, but Lexus thought he was crazy.
hey congrats man, ive been trying to get a hold of all or at least most of the CL or better yet the Lexus enthusists here in vegas, hope we can meet up one day!
Appreciate all the good wishes for my F. My wife had to use my RX350 today for some redecorating crap (again ) and I used her IS350 for golfing. It's the first time I used her car for this and with that, I was able to get two sets of clubs in the trunk without a problem. This was another reason I went for the F instead of a 2 dr. sports car. It's hard to put a pizza box in one of those, let alone a few sets of clubs. Plus, I also won $9.00 which will help offset the $68. Not bad, huh?
