My guess is because it's just rumor. Even the most updated information on Lexus' web site says it's black or white, that's it. Of course, the NM car has a gray interior. I could be wrong but I think "redrock" is just false information. I'll believe it when I see it.

The Lexus IS F website is very outdated, so it cannot be a necessarily trusted source of complete information. If you check out the FAQ page, it still says:

"Q2:
How much will the IS F cost?
A2:
We don’t have pricing at this point, but we expect it will be competitive with typically equipped models in its segment."

Even though we all know the pricing was officially released on January 10th.

My dealer assures me it is Red Rock interior.

Our first seven cars were produced with the Black interior with one of each color and 2 Ultrasonic Blue. The Alpine is the alternative interior. We just had the Matador Red here at the Autoshow and it shows the muscle bulges of the body. The front chin of the car is sculpted into one piece so there aren't any joint lines to waver or cause gaps. The forged BBS wheels are featherlight. The Brembos are serious stopping power. The two VDIM settings are quite different but don't turn it completely off on the street or you may be sorry you did as the torque can rip the rear tires loose in the mid gear ranges. The Sport mode should be enough fun and still keep it inbounds.

Funny, I did a search on "Lexus", "Redrock", "Interior", and "ISF Redrock".
and the only thing I could find is your own posts on CL, My.IS, and Lexus.com. Except for the Toyota Sequoia, "redrock" isn't mentioned anywhere except by you.
I believe redrock in an ISF is just plain false information. Again, I'll believe it when I see it.

What does this prove?

No worries. I practically live in dealer daily but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Instead of posting cut and pasted data that's completely editable, how about grabbing a screen shot of the page in DD. You can block out the VIN if you wish. You can see where this is going, I still don't believe it. Prove me wrong. PLEASE.
BTW If I didn't already say so, congratulations on your ISF! I'm sure you will love it.

Some of you obviously have the inside information. My dealer hasn't told me anything yet about delivery of my NM SBS. Can you guys check on this sort of thing and PM me? Does anyone know when the Neiman Marcus cars will be delivered? My car is being delivered to Sewell Lexus in Dallas, TX. Any idea of when any IS F's will be headed this way?
