the IS F is going to have about 426BHP and TQ350. its going to redline at 9000 rpms. i had a chance to see it in person at the taste of Lexus. its really nice.

Werd. The redline will be no higher than 6800 rpm. The prototype IS-F pictures of the interior showed it. There is no reason for such a big displacement engine to rev up that high since it can produce 400+ HP at only around 6500 rpm.

Werd. Last time I checked my stock 2ZZ-GE redline was at 8250 rpm and rev limit at 8400 rpm.

I am not sure what you are getting at, but please show me one 100 HP/Liter engine naturally aspirated that revs less than 8000 RPM. Just show me ONE example.

I am not sure what you are getting at, but please show me one 100 HP/Liter engine naturally aspirated that revs less than 8000 RPM. Just show me ONE example.

Put it this way. A5 litre engine can't put out 500 bhp, non fi and still pass smog.
