Hi everybody,
I'm new here, but today I got letter from lexus that they themself got. All specs about IS-F are written the same except 500 BHP and still written "preliminary".
Selling will start 4 quater this year.

If it's 5L V8, most likely it will put out around 435ish at most. There is no way Toyota can put out a production engine that will do 100HP/liter

Impossible to make 100 HP/Liter with a 6800 rpm redline N/A. You need short stroke (meaning higher redline) and the torque will be reduced to 320 - 330 ft-lbs max to spread it across a wider rpm band instead of 350+ ft-lbs. Furthermore, torque converters in automatic transmissions cannot hold the stress of high rpms for extended period of time. Mercedes is building a DSG-style sequential manual transmission just to increase their redlines.
E92 M3 revs up to 8500 rpm to make 105 HP/Liter (420 HP from 4.0 Liter) and the RS4 revs up to 8000 rpm to make 100 HP/Liter (420 HP from 4.2 Liter).
