Code P0330 FIX help.
There’s a thread on a rx330 where a user on here spliced his faulty knock 2 sensor wire connected to the ECU and connected it to his knock one wire. Is anyone aware of this being a possible fix for a 2008 Lexus is F intermittently not shifting into overdrive or is this a reach? Also if anyone has done this what wires would I cut. There are 4 knock sensors under the intake in the valley, one probably needs to be replaced. There is an inspection procedure in the online service manual for the knock sensors you can do with a multi-meter.
I had P0333 pop up a while back, turned out to be a bad knock sensor most likely caused from the coolant valley leak issue.
