2011 is 250 c
on the left side of the dash next to the trunk and gas door switches is a blue light. This light started flashing today and then is accompanied by 3 beeps. I cannot find any information in the owners manual or on the internet. I have no idea what this light is for. I have only owned the vehicle for about 4 month. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looking through my manual i determined that this light is located where the wiper de-icer switch would be located ... if the vehicle were equipped with that feature. I checked it again today and it still flashes in burst of 3 followed by 3 beeps. I am thinking this won't go on for long because it will probably drain the battery. The light flashes whether the car is running or shut off. Again, i would appreciate any help given.

 

Since you don't have the wiper defroster option, that spot should be blank. Does the car have an aftermarket alarm system on it? It is probably something the previous owner installed.

 

Can you take picture and post it? More than likely it's for an aftermarket alarm.
