Interior Door Panel Dings
My first post, appears to be a very interesting site.
Purchased my Is 350c two months ago.The previous owner put a couple of "ding" type marks in the left/drivers interior door panel. It's annoying(me) to look at since I am the only one who seems to notice these things. Someone suggested to take off the panel and possibly use a hair dryer to soften the plastic from the inside of the panel and press them out. Anybody have any experience doing this or any other way of "De-Dinging" this interior panel? Any advice short of replacing the panel would be appreciated.

You might need a heat gun instead of a hair dryer. Let us know if it works. The door panels are super easy to take off. Takes 3 minutes. Look at youtube for details.

Since your question is really not related to the fact you have a convertible, I'd suggest you ask the same question in the regular IS forum since the ISC forum gets very little traffic.

The heat gun is an interesting idea. Plan on trying something in a few weeks when the weather cools down a bit.
Thanks for your idea.
