Question Help locating fuel pump

After some research and pinpointing the issue, I found out that the location of the fuel pump in the 250c may be a little different from the sedan so instead of one metal cover underneath the rear seat(is250/350) our 250c has two on each side?
I'm not even sure if those covers will give me access to the fuel pump.

if its anything close to the sedan, which the fule pump should be located in the actual tank. its the side where your gas cap is. just look under the car and you will see the gas tank. i just replaced mine on 07' is350 and first thought the same thing when i saw both metal plates. lol. just pry up the metal cover

yeah, no problem. let me know if you have any questions on replacing, if that is what you are doing. ( i replaced the whole assembly, bought used off ebay ) so i didnt have to mess with taking it apart just to replace the pump itself.

So, I just finished replacing the fuel pump everything seems assembled back correctly but now the car won't start, it will crank but it will act like is out of gas. Gas is flowing fine, obviously there is gas, and fuel pump motor turns.
Maybe I have to give it some more tries for the fuel to reach engine?

Just happen to browse the section again, hopefully you got it started by now. if not, what the issue most likely is that there isnt enough fuel getting to the engine since it only pumps for maybe 2 seconds and it doesnt run long enough.

i had the same problem and what i did was run the fuel pump via car battery for about 6 seconds or so which should allow enough fuel to fill up the fuel lines.* only do this if you are comfortable with electrical stuff and double check which is the ground and power on the fuel pump.
