Hey folks, brand new Lexus owner! Excited to start working on this beauty!

I really like the clean look of the grille without the L emblem in this thread:

Has anyone done this to their IS C?

 

I believe thats just an aftermarket grill. If you remove your emblem you will still be left with the surrounding circle.

Does anyone know if the L emblem on the front grill is glued at all?

I bought a different grill and wanted to use same emblem.

 

It's glued... heat it up with a blow dryer, cut it with dental floss, us a butter knife to pry as u go. I did this to use mine for the Kazz grill.

 

Thanks man. I think I'll just order a new emblem. Too much risk, too little return...

 

No problem but it takes less than 5 minutes super easy.
