Default Parade duty. Yes or no?

Very good friend asked if I would let him use my car in a parade this summer so he can sit on the back deck and wave to everyone, etc.

Of course I would drive. I haven't measured the distance between the roll bar thingies behind the headrests, but it looks pretty narrow. And while he's not obese or anything, he's not a small guy. Maybe 220 lbs.

My initial thought is "f-ck no. I don't want anyone sitting back there... That's not what it's meant for".

What are your guys (and gals) thoughts??

Wow Tom....that is just a piece of plastic back there. Unless I could think of someway to make him a way to sit on something that made all the weight bearing on the seats themselves, I would say no.

Why don't you Google. I'm sure there is someway to make a seat that would put the pressure on the seats and not the plastic package tray.

Let me know what you find out. We don't want anything to happen to Miss Ruby.
