Just got a call from the service manager on ipod integration on my early production 2010 350c.

Like some other 2010 Lexus, it auto plays the top song on the scroll function. I had the same problem fixed (same dealership) on my 2010 RX. He told me that there is NO fix for this annoying problem on the IS. Of course, they probably could replace the entire unit but I'm not crazy about the dealership ripping the dashboard apart. (They didn't offer to do this.)

Service manager, seems to be an honest guy, said he went directly to Lexus engineering group for this info.

Anybody have the same problem? What did you/they do?

To be honest, I just started using my iphone in the car, but I'm using bluetooth and just streaming internet radio.....no playlists or anything. But, I would say no problems for me with that method thus far

I get Error 6 from time to time when using the USB cable to iPhone. If use BlueTooth, no problems with either streaming audio or phone calls-but you don't charge the phone obviously.

BTW, no idea what error 6 is, but it stops playing through the radio.

No problems with my 2012 ISC, I leave my ipod touch connected all the time. I do remember others talking about your problem but I don't remember if they got it fixed. Did you post this in the regular IS section also? It might get more looks.

I have not solved that problem and havent used my ipod in forever, when you navigate playlists it will automatically start playing the first song. Along with that, when you scroll through tracks it also auto plays the song at the top. Its very ANNOYING! You will need to go aftermarket like the FlyAudio Nav Unit to have better options, someone correct me if I am wrong.

I stream spotify via Bluetooth to my android. The best option that i have used to date, I control everything via steering wheel.
