It works fine for me. It is very fragile. I often just leave mine installed. Rarely have backseat passengers. I do prefer to leave it down while driving at night.

This my third convertible automobile in the past 10 years; every model had a windscreen and I have driven with and without the wi dscreen and usually cuts the wind noise well. The Lexus is made similar to the Porsche that is in the 911, cost less and cuts the wind noise that I can speak on the phone and people understand me up to 65 miles per hour.

I had a screen on my BMW 325Cic, made a huge difference. My new 250 came with one and up to 60-70, makes a huge difference, wouldn't be without it. Tx for the heads up on it being fragile, keep an eye on that. The BMW was all metal, built like a brick **** house and you could keep it in the trunk even with the top down! BUT, everything else is better on the Lex for me!

[SIZE="3"]My wife has an SC430 with a factory windscreen. We just test drove an IS 350C with the windscreen and WOW what a difference. At 50 mph with the windows up it is quiet and your hair does NOT BLOW! The difference with and without the screen is DRAMATIC on the IS. We then drove it with the screen off and what a difference. I wouldn't have believed if someone told me, but having experienced it, I'm TOTALLY convinced.
