IS sedan exhaust on vert = Not likely
Well, here's some pics of the underside of a IS-C.
As you can tell, with the additional bracing, it doesn't appear that the aftermarket exhaust from a sedan is going to work, due to the way that the sedan's pipes split.
On the vert, the y-split to the mufflers is a complete 90 degree turn, and occurs behind the diff. Looking at the Tanabe exhaust from a sedan, I think it would hit the braces since it splits further toward the front of the car.

Pole Position
Contact Joe Z, if i remeber correctly he was asking for an IS-C to test fit either his exhaust or Intake ( I forgot which). Im pretty sure hell prob end up makin an exhaust for the C.
Doesnt the F-Sport lineup have an HKS exhaust out for the IS-C???

But, hopefully this will help him too so he can see what it looks like underneath.
Yes, but unfortunately they're the only ones with one at the moment. I was hoping to use the one off my sedan, but that's not going to happen.

Mike...the exhaust wont fit. If you go on F-sport.com or whatever, youll see there is a different part number for the IS-C. Lemme know if you still want that pic?
Congrats on the car, youre gunna love it.

Thanks man. Yeah I saw the different part #, but didn't know why it was different til I looked under the car. Then I realized that the whole rear end is different from the sedan.
If you have shots of the underside, that would be great. I'd like to see how the F-sport gets around the additional bracing. Do they split very far back like the stock exhaust does, or did they just lower the piping some to clear the bracing off the diff?
TIA,
Mike

Prototyping on the PTS Exhaust was already completed on an IS350 C this past week...
It's is completely different back there for sure!!!
Lots of fun bracing underneath the Convertible.
The Intake Pipe was a direct fit.. So no issues there.
These are all the pics I can show for now. More info to be released Very Soon!!

Mike...hope this helps solve the mystery of the exhaust, thanks to Joe. Good thing too, it has been one miserable day here. I think the gods have been crying over NYC. Of course if you have anymore questions lemme know.
