Sup fam, been a while for me on the club Lexus forums. I scrolled across a 2010 is350c close by me with 59,000km on it, white on white. The car looks to be in amazing shape. I’m thinking of going to look at it real soon. Questions.. my staggered wheels on is350 should fit on the is350c correct? 19” wheels and there’s no rubbing with a 1” drop on my is350.. I also have 2011 headlights installed on my car, and would like to switch them over. I’m thinking this should be no problem since the c is a 2010 also. I will have to move the flasher relay over too. I’ve always wanted a convertible, and the backseat in my 4dr IS isn’t that roomy anyway, so why not get a convertible haha let me know your thoughts on vehicle ownership, quirks, etc. the car is about 2hrs away from me so I’ll have to coordinate a visit to see it, and possibly buy it. The convertible has been lady driven, winter stored.. the kind of car you want to jump on and buy..
I've had a 250C for a year now, and love it. It serves as my long-distance car and winter car (my daily driver is a '94 Miata).
Suspension parts, particularly springs, should be different since the sedan carries its weight differently from the convertible. Wheels that fit the sedan should fit the convertible with no issues, same thing with headlights. Tail lights are obviously different. Not sure if you'd ever be interested in body modifications, but there is virtually nothing available for the convertible (aside from front bumpers, which would be the same as the sedan).
All of the normal quirks and things to look out for with the 2IS sedan apply here; run the top fully opened and closed a few times when looking at the car, and try to watch it from the outside while its moving. Movements should be smooth and not jerky.

Best of luck.
Thanks! I’ll be sure to run the top a few times for sure. My car does have F sport suspension and I thought about swapping it but I did also read what you mentioned, springs aren’t quite the same for the convertible. I think I’m heading next weekend to see it.
