See, I think it needs to be dropped to take advantage of how the spoiler changes the look. Then, I’m like “springs or coilovers?” And of course, then, I’m like “20’s for sure!” So yeah, it’s a slippery slope for me
Gotcha, I undersand. If it is any consolation. After I put the spoiler on, the car seemed complete for me. It was like scratching an itch and it was all better!
Had mine installed today. Agreed that hardest part was removing OEM spoiler. I was lucky as I have small hands and was able to squeeze in to get the push pins out and screw on the nuts. A long wrench or ratchet will help with the 2 side nuts on far left and right.
Does anyone know if the this spoiler comes clear coated? I can't find anything definitive that says it's got a uv protection clear coating. I've read that it could just be a glossy gel with no uv protection. I was gonna email seibon directly, but wanted to see if maybe you all knew.
I dont understand why so many of the aftermarket IS parts have some kind of fin looking part. Like on the mirror cap, its got that extra pointy part and on the lip it has that fin close to the wheel. What gives with these designs? IMO it takes away from the body of the IS.

I actually do not mind the Horned mirror caps. Not sure if I’d ever get them, but I kinda dig it.

The mirror caps is actually functional if you look at TRD Japan's website, that guy on youtube got the knock off version of it...
