Im glad you found it helpful! If you were local, I would totally lend you a hand!
You might have better luck in your area but I called around to find a body shop that would do this for me and they all turned me down as the job was too small for them.

You mean their hands/arms are too big to fit in the small crevices to tighten those corner bolts? I guess that's true, because it's too small for them .
A guy with small hands/skinny arms would make the job a breeze.

I promise it's not as bad as it sounds but is really unnerving as this is the most expensive car I've personally worked on. My advice is to take it slow and make sure you have a couple extra hands to help take the trunk off.

I hope you gave them a "that's what she said" before you hung up 😁
For those not in the Lexus FB groups looking for a wing vs the current Duckbill Dynasty going on (looks good, just making jokes, chill), RR Racing is releasing one in a few weeks as well as one from SilkBlaze in Japan.

I ordered the ebay knock off of the siebon but it does not have any mounting brackets only double sided tape. There is very little surface area to attach it to on the spoiler, and it looks like there will be holes in the trunk lid once the oem one is removed...... any ideas on a solution?

IMO the only solution is to get the seibon spoiler. If its the same ebay spoiler I'm thinking of, the exposed mounting holes is 1000% a deal breaker.
thanks for the vid - anyone have a solution for a better look for the holes? that would bug me damn that's annoying. does the seibon have this same issue?

Only solution is to plug up the holes. No matter what you do unless you fill the hole and paint, its gonna look bad.
The seibon spoiler uses all the holes if i recall there 4 or 6 bolts with the seibon spoiler. But what i do know is the seibon spoiler doesn't leave any of holes exposed.
IMO its the best looking spoiler for the IS. Not aggressive and it follows the body lines really well. Its not cheap, but its totally worth it.
