Issue with both remotes
I usually use the door handle mounted controls to lock and unlock the car, so this might have been the case for a while. Those still work. However, I noticed today that buttons on both remotes are not working. Batteries are less than 6 months old. But I was planning to switching them out to troubleshoot.
Is there some sort of button lockout failsafe feature that I may have activated? If that's not the case, and given that both remotes are having the same issue simultaneously... makes me think its the car.

Did a bit troubleshooting, new battery no change. Car is definitely receiving signals. Just seems like lock, unlock, trunk, panic functions are disabled. I can do press press hold lock button to start the car. Also, holding down lock and unlock buttons for like 5+ seconds cycles all doors unlock or just drivers door unlock.
Seems to be nothing in the manual about this.

Well, look at this...

I guess I found my problem. Yes, I was recently in the door features customization screen. I believe I made one or two adjustments. I had my fob with me and another fob from wife's NX closeby. Pretty outrageous that this is still a problem across several lines. Now I have to haul *** to the dealership as this can't be put off till next service. That will be at least 4-5 months.

This sort of hilarity is not something I would expect from Toyota/Lexus. If this was a Ford, I would just shrug and go about my business. Funny thing is that I was just over there yesterday picking up a little clip I broke the other day.
Maybe I'll see if they want to make a house call...

Issue resolved this morning. Writeup says its a known issue. Everything seems to be back including the door lock/unlock beep.
I did notice something peculiar when I got home that I was hoping one of you guys can double check for me. If I leave a fob in the car and try to lock it via door controls, I get an error beep, no lock. If I leave one of the fobs in the car and lock it with the second fob, it does lock. I don't believe that should be the case. Seems counter intuitive.

Mine is the same too. It really makes sense if you think about it. You have one fob with you, you accidently leave it in the car, you press the door control to lock, hopefully it won't let you lock yourself out. Now if you leave a fob inside but have another fob with you and you press the lock on the fob no problem, you have one outside the car so it'll lock.
Just had the issue when I turned off the beeps when locking/unlocking. Both fob buttons would not do anything. Lexus fixed it but no real, lasting "fix" was presented to me. Avoid those settings I guess. I will see if I can get some attention on this from Lexus but not sure they will care.
