$94k for the Final Edition RC F. They are not trying to sell many. It's there if you really want it.

Here you go: https://pressroom.lexus.com/2025-lex...ous-swan-song/

Basically, looks like the same equipment as the Carbon Package but reportedly had some small refinements to the diff and engine. The diff was specifically described as having fine-tuned backlash for better response on both accel and braking, but nothing specific was named for the engine.

After a year and a half with the IS 500, there's part of me that could be interested in an RC F as something a little more hardcore, but my biggest problem is that the car hasn't changed much in ten years and the price has increased ~$30k in that time. An IS 500 is $67k... a similarly equipped RC F is over $80k... and they have the same engine, same transmission, and a lot of shared parts. I'm not saying the RC F's addition of bigger brakes, oil cooler, transmission cooler, etc. aren't worth it... but are they worth $14k more? Not to me.

I think the Final Edition is really well done, but needless to say, a price of $95k is pretty rich for what is 98% the same car that debuted in 2014. There are a lot of other options for that much money that are objectively better cars. The other thing I think about is that my dream spec LC 500 is around $110k and LC feels like a worthy $15k upgrade over an RC F, IMO.

So all of that to say, when you have the IS 500 sub-$70k and the LC 500 starts around $100k... Lexus has kind of priced the RC F into no man's land based on age, power, tech, and features. It's a hard proposition to justify.

Oh yeah, and 2025 is the last year for the IS 500 as well.

If I were to buy a limited-edition V-8 Lexus this year, the Flare Yellow would be a lot more appealing at its price.

Probably means the LF-R we’ve spy shotted the last two years will make its debut very soon!

Flare Yellow would be my least favorite of the "special" colors / editions. I'd go Vector Blue or Molten Pearl before Flare Yellow but I already have my special color as do you! I'd settle for Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 if I had to.

If you want a little more info and pics there is a thread on the 2025 RC F Final Edition.

Will there be a 2026 MY IS 500? I'm leaning no.

I mean, I think the yellow stitching on the inside is pretty nice and more unique in the segment than what most other brands are doing. Plus, I have to say, I do like the BBS wheels for 2025. I know the gloss black looks odd in photos sometimes, but I think it'll be better in person - plus, the wheel design itself is spot-on. Looks aggressive but not racy.

And Flare Yellow is actually great if you ask me, but I know it's not everybody's first choice.
