Hell nah lol. I wish. I've been living that no car payment life for the last 6 months and I love it lol. Still love the platform though.

Well then I don't know how anyone here can trust your opinion since you don't own a 500

Yup thats the most noticeable one. Tons of markets have gotten that but so far in the US we haven't. There is a slim chance it may be available for the US in 2024 but it wasn't in the leaked bulletin so I am doubtful it will be sadly.

Honestly, the updates across the IS 500 lineup, excluding special editions have been pretty subtle so far:

2023:

Lexus added a dark metallic interior trim material to the A/C vents, clock, etc. in place of the metallic silver trim used for prior years.
Satin Chrome trim now adorns the window switch surround trim in place of Black Geometric Film.
Enkei wheels became dark-metallic/dark-chrome instead of silver.
BBS Forged Wheels became a standalone option.

2024:

Removed Atomic Silver and Grecian Water color options.
Incognito is now available as a color.
Bright chrome trim on the side mirrors has been replaced with dark chrome.
...? Maybe that's it?

Edit: You know, I think this means that you could pretty much look at one of these and tell which year it is.

Bright-silver interior trim with Black Geometric Film? 2022.
Bright-chrome mirror caps and Satin Chrome interior? 2023.
Dark-chrome mirror caps? 2024.

I wonder if this could be done as some Lexus parts are interchangeable.

Also didn’t Lexus add the transmission cooler as an add on option in Japan?

Maybe, just maybe the transmission cooler will be offered as an option?

Changing the infotainment wouldn't be too hard for wireless CP and AA.

The problem is providing a wireless charging option. Where would it go?

I hope Lexus does load the 2024 with tons of useless tech and smaller motor. It'll further justify reasoning for getting a 2023. I fear the day when I buy another car and its more tech than car. I want to drive the car, not the other way around

I don't get it either, they'll probably just blame it on parts shortage... canadian IS500 still don't have power tilt steering or rear sun shade, hopefully that'll change for MY24..
