Standing Burnout without Pedal dance
So I’ve seen people post about not be able to a standing brake stand burnout/launch without a pedal dance like some other F models. I always loved being able to standing burnouts in my ISF. So I figured out how it works on the IS500 and it works fine. All you have to do is put in manual mode and hit the Traction Buttom once and it will you let you do a standing or rolling burnout. Obviously stability control is still active. I tested it a couple times and it had zero issues doing it.

Maybe I'm a weirdo, or maybe just too old school "take care of your stuff and it will take care of you" of a person, but I could just not do that to a car. I sort of feel that everything has a certain life span to it and I always try to make it go as far as it can. That goes for anything I own. I suppose a lot of it has to do with being a kid growing up poor and rarely having enough of the finer things to play with. Even things like food and clothes--I didn't grow up without that need to preserve.
Others want to use things up to their capacity and push the envelope--which is okay--not judging, but just not me.

But I have to admit, I'll probably try a quick burnout once just because I can. Just for **** and giggles!

That said, of all the cars I have owned, from POS rag to luxury, and this is my first true muscle car. Didn’t even have one as a kid. Never been able to do burnouts, even our Explorer ST won’t do that. So, everything in moderation and doing so with care.
BTW, anyone ever follow on Insta or TikTok “Cars leaving meets?” Funny stuff, typically someone leaving a car meet trying to do a burnout that goes bad. 😆
I try to balance that. I drive hard and fairly fast, but not excessive. I do try and push it through areas on occasion. I am more of a speed and cornering person than a burnout guy.

I do enjoy the car, for sure. I like going through a turn faster than I need to and accelerating out. I like blasting down on-ramps. However, I don't like shredding my expensive tires.
I'm with most of you here. I haven't done a full-on burnout with smoke flying all over the place, just a few massive peel outs, losing the rear-end a few times, things of that nature.
